Little Coco - her life matters! (reserved)

She was dumped in a forest, in the middle of nowhere; with no food or water, pregnant, small size, in danger of being run over by cars, she and the puppies. Marilena took her and she is now fostering her, because Happy Paws is full.

Showing her appreciation

Little Coco is not a very energetic dog, but she shows her appreciation to Marilena in a quiet, gentle manner. She loves people, but she enjoys to have a little time and space to herself.

She was vaccinated and spayed last month, so she is available for adoption. She is perfect for a quiet family, with no small children or cats. Little Coco is around 2 years old, small size and has a very beautiful fur.

Pepe - the loud mouth boy

Pepe was found last month in a forest, near a gypsy village in our county. Marilena found other two small size dogs in that same place last month; if she hadn't taken them, they would all be dead now, run over by cars  and with no water sourse in this summer heat. We still can't understand how people find it in their hearts to abandon such small dogs (or any dog) in the middle of nowhere with practically no chance of surviving.

Marilena took him to Happy Paws and he was lucky enough to have been neutered very soon after this by the wonderful RAR team of vets.

Just before being neutered

Pepe is a very loving boy, very attached to people; he practically screams out like a baby if left alone in a kennel. Sadly, we can't offer him more than a cute kennel mate, a small size girl who is going home this month.

Pepe and little Coco (in the left) are both waiting for a forever home

All of them fully recovered after being spayed or neutered

We hope Pepe won't be with us for long, it is clear he is a lap dog who desperately needs a home of his own.  He is comfortable with dogs, small or big size, but more interested in human company. Pepe is around one year old, neutered and vaccinated and can go home almost immediately.

Noah - a gentle soul

Noah was found last Autumn in a forest nearby Moreni. He was skin and bones, but his huge belly fooled people into thinking he was well fed. Marilena took him to Happy Paws and for a few days he ate as if there was no tommorow. He grew up with the rest of the puppies, but he always stood out as a very gentle and kind puppy.

Noah is kind to other dogs and has managed to live well together with the other puppies and with the adult dogs that are now his friends. His beautiful brindle coat is so shinny and that shows how well he is taken care of now.

Noah is a sweet young boy, vaccinated and neutered. He is about 1 year old, very friendly and gentle; he gets well to both females and males and he is gentle to older children, making him the perfect family dog.

Happy Paws' youngsters

They were found last winter, some together, some separately, but they all had one thing in common: they were young puppies roaming on the frozen streets with no food or shelter.
